Ground Grocer is a family-run organic grocery store with daily deliveries of lettuce, cucumber and seasonal vegetables from our farm in the Ecovillage and a team of local growers. Our bees are also working hard to keep us stocked with beautiful honey that we extract ourselves every few months.
In our bulk wholefood section you will find all your essentials for cooking and snacking including dried Australian fruit, oats, flours, L’Abruzzese pasta, sourdough bread crumbs, activated nuts, rice and pulses. We source from Australian growers first then look further afield if supply isn’t available.
Organic sourdough bread is delivered fresh daily (except Sundays) from Burleigh Baker and special orders are welcomed.
Our sushi rolls contain organic ingredients including chicken…a first on the Gold Coast.
Every product in our store undergoes a test for packaging, locality and ingredients so that you can buy anything knowing that it’s the best option available. Nothing contains Canola or “vegetable oil” and we avoid all of the new, highly processed “sugar replacements”.
We aim for 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging in store.
Please bring your own containers or use one of ours.
